1. Individual Bookings
1.1. Cancellation Requests:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email to gulmargskylinks@gmail.com or WhatsApp to +91 95963 24625) at least 7 days before the tour or activity start date to be eligible for a refund.
1.2. Cancellation Charges: - More than 30 days before the start date: 10% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 15–30 days before the start date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
- Less than 15 days or no-show: No refund will be provided.
2. Group Bookings (10+ Participants)
2.1. Cancellation Requests:
- Cancellation requests for group bookings must be submitted in writing at least 15 days before the tour or activity start date to be eligible for a refund.
2.2. Cancellation Charges: - More than 60 days before the start date: 10% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 30–60 days before the start date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
- Less than 30 days or no-show: No refund will be provided.
3. Weather and Safety
3.1. In the event of adverse weather conditions (e.g., heavy snowfall, storms) or safety concerns (e.g., road closures, avalanches), Gulmarg Skylinks reserves the right to reschedule the tour or activity.
3.2. If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to you, a full refund will be issued, regardless of the cancellation timelines above.
4. Refund Process
4.1. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method (e.g., bank transfer, UPI, or cash refund if paid in cash).
4.2. Refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days from the date of approval of the cancellation request.
4.3. Any bank or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be borne by the customer.
5. Modifications or Rescheduling
5.1. Requests to modify or reschedule a booking must be made at least 7 days before the tour or activity start date, subject to availability.
5.2. No additional charges will apply for rescheduling, provided the request meets the timeline and availability criteria.
5.3. If the rescheduled tour or activity costs more, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference.
6. No-Show Policy
6.1. A “no-show” occurs when a participant fails to arrive for the scheduled tour or activity without prior notification.
6.2. No refunds will be issued for no-shows, regardless of the reason.
7. Cancellations or Modifications by Gulmarg Skylinks
7.1. We reserve the right to modify or cancel any tour or activity due to insufficient bookings, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., government restrictions, equipment failure), or safety concerns.
7.2. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative tour/activity or a full refund. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you (e.g., travel or accommodation expenses).
8. Additional Terms
8.1. Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines provided by our staff or guides during tours and activities. Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
8.2. All cancellation, refund, or rescheduling requests are subject to the terms outlined in this policy and our general Terms and Conditions.
